UK FHD 51st Academic Meeting

The UK Forum on Haemoglobin Disorders is a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare professionals interested in all aspects of sickle cell disease, thalassaemia and related conditions. The Forum is now a recognised and respected organisation involved in formulating national policy for screening and management of these conditions (www.haemoglobin.org.uk).
The 51st Academic Meeting of the UKFHD will include talks on lessons learnt from the COVID 2nd wave, gene therapy, NICE commissioning of new therapies, bone marrow transplant for sickle adults, advising patients on the COVID vaccine, psychology of vaccination and its impact on BAME …. and more.
